Wearwells foremost ability is to provide a near-shore, fast response services capable of delivering 23,0000 high quality, durable garments per week into domestic markets. To achieve, this Wearwell has partnered with a number of North African production facility’s, Morocco, run by British expatriates, and Tunisia.
Manufacturing in Tunisia came after a lengthy process of working across Europe and Asia trialling a wide range of offshore locations. None were able to offer
the quality and responsiveness that can be achieved in Tunisia.
By manufacturing garments in North Africa Wearwell has access to significant spare capacity which can be scaled up and down as required by production in addition to giving a very cost competitive and responsive manufacturing process.
Wearwells key strategic advantage of manufacturing in Tunisia is our ability to manufacture and deliver high-quality workwear garments up too 50% faster than standard industry lead-times. By providing a critical balance between speed of response and cost efficiency, our Tunisian production unit has consistently outperformed Eastern European workwear manufactures in both quality and cost.
On average orders manufactured in Tunisia are received in the UK in just 6 weeks. This is, in part, due to our extensive range of Europe’s leading fabrics and trims held at the factory in Tunisia.
Ensuring our workwear is not only manufactured to the highest quality but in an ethically conscious environment is very important to Wearwell, it’s why our Tunisian factory is audited by the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit meeting the SMETA four pillar standard.
